Imagine Stockholm 2060

Stockholm is a city shaped by innovation, transition, and a strong ability to turn ideas into practice. The decisions we make about the physical city have long time horizons. What we plan today will shape Stockholm for many decades to come. The City of Stockholm is currently working on a new comprehensive plan with a target of 2060. The comprehensive plan is one of the city's most important strategic tools. It sets directions for how Stockholm should develop – how land and water should be used, what should be preserved and changed, and how different needs and interests should be weighed against one another. With the combined experience and knowledge in the room, the perspective on the city of the future is challenged. 1. What issues should the comprehensive plan take on? 2. What opportunities do you see from your different perspectives? 3. What choices do we need to start testing already now? Things to consider ahead of the occasion: 1. What perspectives, based on your companies and conditions, are important for Stockholm's future? 2. How do you think your customers' and suppliers' wishes and needs will change over time? After the introduction, we will work together in a workshop around the new comprehensive plan. It concludes with a joint conversation where perspectives and ideas are gathered and become part of the continued work on Stockholm 2060.
