O-Ringen Stockholm 2027 – together, we create hospitality
In the summer of 2027, the orienteering event O-Ringen will come to Stockholm. For Stockholm’s business community, it presents an opportunity to reach an experience-driven audience, create business value, and contribute to the city’s shared spirit of hospitality.

What is O-Ringen – and why is it a business opportunity?
O-Ringen – the world’s largest orienteering adventure – takes place every summer in Sweden and runs for seven days. The event brings together everyone from recreational participants to the world elite, with competitors of all ages and levels.
Beyond the competitions, O-Ringen is also a social meeting point. Many participants stay with family and friends in the temporary O-Ringen area, where a small city of activities, services, and social spaces comes to life.
For businesses in Stockholm, it means a full week when thousands of people move through and around the city – with a strong demand for food, experiences, services, and activities.
The target audience you'll meet
O-Ringen Stockholm 2027 is expected to attract around 15,000 participants and 1,500 volunteers from more than 40 countries, with the largest number of visitors coming from Norway, Switzerland, and Finland. Many travel with their families and stay in Stockholm for several days. The largest age group is 10–19-year-olds.
The target audience has a strong interest in nature, outdoor life, and active experiences, but also in exploring the city between stages. This creates strong opportunities for businesses in hospitality, retail, food, and activities to reach new customers.

Stockholm as a host city – a joint effort in hospitality
Stockholm works from a shared spirit of hospitality, where the city, businesses, and organizations together contribute to the experience of visitors and participants.
O-Ringen is an event that brings together grassroots sport and international elite competition, creating an inclusive meeting place. As the host city, the ambition is to deliver a well-organized and welcoming event that strengthens the city’s appeal and creates lasting value.
The business community plays an important role – both in interactions with visitors and in contributing to the overall experience of Stockholm.

Venues and movement across the city
During O-Ringen Stockholm 2027, a central O-Ringen area will be established at Gärdet, featuring a campsite and activity area.
The competition stages will take place in Täljö, Kärrtorp, and Akalla, and conclude at Stockholm Stadium. This means that participants and visitors will move between different parts of the city and the region throughout the week.
